The China Society of Automotive Engineers has officially released the “Determination Method for All-Solid-State Batteries”, marking the first formal standard to define what constitutes a true all-solid-state battery. The standard requires ion transport to occur entirely through solid electrolytes, clearly distinguishing it from hybrid solid-liquid electrolyte batteries.

2. Changan Sets 2025 Sales Target at 3 Million Units

On May 27, Changan Auto Chairman Zhu Huarong announced during the company’s 2024 shareholder meeting that Changan aims for 3 million vehicle sales in 2025, including 1 million new energy vehicles (NEVs) and RMB 300 billion in total revenue.
